A Lane Security analyst monitoring network activity on a wall of screens in a dark operations center

Network · Website · Physical

Attackers only need one way in. We close all of them.

Lane Security is a security consulting firm covering the full perimeter of your business — the network it runs on, the website it sells through, and the doors people actually walk through. One team, one standard: find the weakness before someone else does.

Core Services

Three ways in. Three lines of defense.

Most break-ins — digital or physical — succeed because one layer was assumed to be someone else's problem. We take responsibility for all three.

Network Security

$1,500per month · managed

Your network is the backbone of the business — email, files, phones, point of sale, cameras. We design, harden, and monitor it so a single compromised device can't become a company-wide incident.

  • Firewall, VPN & segmentation design
  • Continuous monitoring & threat detection
  • Endpoint protection across every device
  • Patch & vulnerability management
  • Secure Wi-Fi & remote access
  • Incident response when minutes matter

Website Security

$250per month · managed

Your website is public, always on, and probed by automated attacks around the clock. We keep it patched, watched, and clean — so it never becomes the doorway into your business or a blacklist warning to your customers.

  • Web application firewall (WAF)
  • Daily malware & vulnerability scans
  • Core, plugin & theme updates handled
  • Hack cleanup & blacklist removal
  • Uptime & file-integrity monitoring
  • Off-site backups, tested restores

Physical Security

Case by casescoped per engagement

The strongest firewall in the world doesn't stop someone who tailgates through the lobby and plugs into an open port. We assess the physical layer — people, doors, cameras, and habits — with the same rigor we apply to code.

  • Facility security assessments
  • Access control & key management review
  • Camera, alarm & lighting placement
  • Server room & sensitive-area hardening
  • Staff procedures & visitor policy
  • On-site penetration testing

Penetration Testing

Don't guess whether you're secure. Hire us to break in.

A penetration test is a controlled, authorized attack on your own systems — run by the same people who defend them. It's the fastest way to find out what an attacker would find, while you can still fix it on your terms.

01

Network Penetration Testing

External and internal testing of your firewalls, servers, and workstations. We probe for the open ports, weak credentials, and unpatched systems that ransomware crews look for first.

02

Web Application Testing

Hands-on testing of your website and web apps for the flaws scanners miss — broken access control, injection, exposed data, and logic errors an automated tool can't reason about.

03

Physical Penetration Testing

Authorized attempts to enter your facility, reach restricted areas, and access systems on site — tailgating, lock and badge weaknesses, and unattended workstations included.

04

Social Engineering & Phishing

Controlled phishing campaigns and pretext calls that measure how your team responds — followed by training that fixes the behavior, not blame that hides it.

How an engagement runs

  1. 1
Scope & rules of engagementWritten authorization, clear targets, and hard boundaries before anything is touched.
  2. 2
TestingReconnaissance, exploitation, and privilege escalation — the way a real attacker works.
  3. 3
ReportEvery finding ranked by real-world risk, with the exact steps to fix it, in plain English.
  4. 4
RetestWe verify the fixes hold and close out each finding — no open loops.

Every test runs under a signed agreement with defined scope. Penetration testing is priced per engagement based on size and complexity — tell us what you want tested and we'll scope it.

Pricing

Straight pricing. No hourly meter running.

Managed security shouldn't require a procurement department. Two flat monthly plans cover the layers most businesses get hit through — and physical security is scoped honestly, engagement by engagement.

Website Security

$250 / month

For businesses whose website takes bookings, orders, or leads — and can't afford for it to be defaced, blacklisted, or quietly infected.

  • Web application firewall
  • Daily malware & vulnerability scans
  • All updates & patches handled
  • Hack cleanup included
  • Uptime monitoring & backups

Physical Security

Case by case

Every facility is different, so every physical engagement is scoped after a walkthrough — priced on the size of the site and the depth of the assessment.

  • Facility security assessment
  • Access control & camera review
  • Sensitive-area hardening plan
  • Staff procedure recommendations
  • Optional on-site penetration test

Penetration testing is quoted per engagement — scope, size, and number of targets set the price. Many clients pair an annual pen test with a monthly plan, so the findings from the test get fixed and monitored under the plan.

Beyond the Core

Full-spectrum cybersecurity — and the team that builds what it protects.

Security doesn't stop at three services. Lane Security covers the wider discipline, from day-to-day protection to the websites and custom software your business runs on.

Cybersecurity Services

Ongoing protection and one-time engagements for the risks that don't fit neatly into a plan.

  • Vulnerability AssessmentsFull scans of networks, systems, and cloud accounts with a prioritized fix list.
  • Email & Endpoint SecurityAnti-phishing, spam filtering, and managed protection on every inbox and device.
  • Cloud SecurityConfiguration reviews for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, and Azure — where most breaches now start.
  • Incident Response PlanningA written, rehearsed plan for the worst day — who does what, in what order, before it happens.
  • Security Awareness TrainingPractical training that turns your staff from the weakest link into an early-warning system.
  • Compliance ReadinessGap assessments and remediation support for cyber-insurance requirements and industry standards.

Also on the Team

The same people who test websites for weaknesses also design and build them — so what we ship is secure by construction, not by patch.

  • Web DesignFast, credible business websites designed to convert — and hardened from day one.
  • Custom DevelopmentWeb applications, portals, dashboards, and integrations built to your exact workflow.
  • Redesigns & RebuildsOutdated or compromised sites rebuilt on a clean, maintainable, secure foundation.
  • Care & MaintenanceHosting guidance, updates, backups, and small changes handled under one arrangement.

Built Secure, Not Patched Secure

Most sites get hacked through what was never built right.

Plugins nobody updates. Admin panels left at default settings. Forms that trust whatever a visitor types. When Lane Security builds your website or custom application, the security work happens during the build — not after the first incident.

  • Secure configuration & hardened admin access from launch
  • Tested forms, logins, and payment flows before go-live
  • Performance and accessibility built in, not bolted on
  • Seamless handoff into a Website Security plan

Why Lane Security

Security advice is cheap. Accountability isn't.

One team owns the whole perimeter

Attackers don't respect the boundary between "IT," "the website," and "the building." Neither do we. One engagement can cover all three, so nothing falls between vendors.

We test like attackers, report like partners

Our penetration testers use real attacker techniques — then explain every finding in plain English, ranked by what would actually hurt your business, with a fix for each one.

No fear-selling, no box-checking

If something is low-risk, we'll tell you. If a $250 plan solves your problem, we won't sell you the $1,500 one. Straight assessments are how a security firm earns a second call.

Common Questions

Before you ask

What's the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?
A scan is automated: software checks your systems against a list of known weaknesses and prints a report. A penetration test is human: a tester actually tries to exploit what the scan finds — chaining small weaknesses together the way a real attacker would — and proves what can actually be reached. Scans tell you what's unlocked; pen tests tell you what someone can walk away with.
Is penetration testing safe for my live systems?
Yes, when it's done under a proper engagement. Every Lane Security test starts with written authorization, a defined scope, agreed testing windows, and rules of engagement that protect production systems and sensitive data. If a test uncovers something critical mid-engagement, we stop and tell you immediately rather than pressing on.
Why is Physical Security priced case by case?
Because no two facilities are alike. A single-suite office and a multi-building warehouse need completely different assessments. We start with a walkthrough, then give you a fixed scope and price before any work begins — no open-ended billing.
What's included in the monthly plans, exactly?
Website Security ($250/month) covers firewall protection, daily scanning, all updates and patches, uptime monitoring, backups, and cleanup if the site is ever compromised. Network Security ($1,500/month) covers managed firewall and VPN, continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, patch management, and priority incident response. Both are managed for you — you get reports, not homework.
We already have an IT person or company. Do we still need this?
Very likely, yes — and we work alongside IT providers all the time. Keeping systems running and keeping them secure are different disciplines. IT makes sure things work; we make sure they can't be turned against you. An independent pen test is valuable precisely because it checks the work of the people who built and maintain your systems.
Can you build our website and secure it too?
That's one of the best reasons to work with us. Our web design and custom development work is done by the same firm that penetration-tests websites, so security is baked into the build. When the site launches, it can roll straight into a Website Security plan so it stays that way.
